BUFFALO CHARGE

COMMUNITY LIFE

Community Life Church, now at its new location 1104 Pittsburgh Pike Road, meets at 10:15 a.m. Sunday. Classes for children, ages 6 months to sixth grade, are during the service.

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN

Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., celebrates the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper at its worship service Sunday.

The Rev. Alan Adams, executive presbyter of the Beaver/Butler Presbytery, is the guest minister Sunday.

FAITH UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Guest speaker, retired Rev. James Swanson of Covenant Presbyterian Church, leads the Communion worship Sunday at Faith United Presbyterian Church, 1329 N. Main Ext. Brittany Brown of Cranberry Township is the guest pianist.

An AA group meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

FIRST BAPTIST

The ladies’ Bible study of First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., meets at 7 tonight at the Dittmer home.

The Shop @ 216, a ministry sponsored by the church, is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 216 W. Jefferson St.

The Sunday schedule includes an 8:30 a.m. prayer service and a 9:15 a.m. breakfast followed by Sunday school and a worship service.

FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN

First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., resumes regular Sunday services with 8:30 and 11 a.m. worship services and 9:45 a.m. Sunday school.

The good Samaritan flower pot is at the rear of the sanctuary for donations for those in need.

Jefferson Center Presbyterian

MARS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars, has a special session meeting at 7 tonight.

The middle school and high school youth group meets at 6 p.m. Sunday in the fellowship hall.

ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH OF CONNOQUENESSING

St. John’s Lutheran Church of Connoquenessing, 100 Main St., Connoquenessing, celebrates the Baptism of our Lord Sunday with Holy Communion and installation of the 2018 officers for church council and the cemetery association.

The cause of the month is the Connoquenessing Area Meals on Wheels.

The Christmas tree and decorations are removed at 1 p.m. Saturday.

ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 420 Beaver St., Mars, has a white elephant bingo and potluck dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday in the fellowship hall. Take an inexpensive wrapped gift and a covered dish to share.

The youth group assists the bowling league at St. John Specialty Care Center, 500 Wittenberg Way, Mars., at 1:45 p.m. Saturday. Meet in the lobby.

The Sunday project will be a welcome home baby kit for the women of the Light of Light Mission. It includes bottles, baby blankets, bibs, baby shampoo, wipes and diapers.

SUMMIT PRESBYTERIAN

Members of Summit Presbyterian Church, 181 Caldwell Drive, will put away Christmas decorations at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
