BUTLER TWP — Brendon Record scored 28 points, but the Butler County Community College men’s basketball team dropped a 91-82 decision to Penn State Fayette Wednesday night.

Joel Stutz scored 27 points and Kaden Rock 11 for the Pioneers (1-7). BC3 sank 16 of 51 3-point shots.

The Pioneer women’s team slipped to 1-7 with a 66-62 loss to Penn State Fayette. Mackenzie Craig scored 32 points, grabbed 30 rebounds and dished out seven assists in the loss.

Lydia Roth contributed 10 points, 12 rebounds and six assists while Carly Burdett scored 10 points.

BC3’s men play at the Allegany (Md.) College tournament Friday and Saturday. The BC3 women host the Point Park JV’s Monday night.
