Carnegie Museum of Art, 4400 Forbes Ave., presents an exhibition of photographs by William Henry Fox Talbot, who invented the paper-based photography that dominated the field for most of the 19th and 20th centuries, Nov. 18 to Feb. 11. The museum will have free admission on Nov. 19. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except closed Tuesdays. Extended hours are until 8 p.m. Thursdays.
