Area high school football teams have learned their destinations for the playoffs this weekend.

In the WPIAL, Mars will travel to Belle Vernon in Class 4A, Freeport heads to Seton-La Salle for a Class 3A rematch, Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic hosts Brentwood in Class 2A and Summit Academy heads to Clairton in Class A.

All of those games begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

At 7 p.m. Saturday night in District 10, Slippery Rock takes on Sharon at Wilmington High School in Class 3A while Grove City faces Fort LeBoeuf in Class 5A at Slippery Rock University.

Karns City does not see D-9 playoff action in Class 3A until it plays Punxsutawney at 7 p.m. Nov. 9 at Clarion University.
