An Ellwood City man pleaded guilty in Butler County Court on Tuesday to disseminating child pornography.

Scott E. Brown, 52, entered the plea before Judge Timothy McCune to one felony count of sexual abuse of children by dissemination of photographs.

The plea agreement calls for a sentence of 11½ to 23 months in prison, followed by probation, and to pay restitution, fines and costs.

Brown was initially charged with 56 felony charges, including five counts of sexual abuse of children by dissemination of photographs, 50 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communications facility stemming from incidents between 2013 and 2014, when Brown lived alone in two adjoining apartments on Perry Highway in Lancaster Township.
