Tours of Preston Park in Butler Township will be offered on Nov. 25, beginning at 10 a.m. The 2- to 3-hour walking tour is available at no cost to township residents and their guests. Succop Nature Park, formerly the Succop Conservancy, 185 W. Airport Road, Penn Township, has a nature walk at 9 a.m. Thursdays. Call 412-963-6100 or visit www.aswp.org.

Nautical Nature, the pontoon boat at Moraine State Park, operates cruises on Lake Arthur at 1 and 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through October. For reservations, call 724-368-9185.

Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township, will be the site of “Crayfish Talk” at 2 p.m. Oct. 15 and Nature Detectives: A Prairie Puzzle at 2 p.m. Oct. 22. October Moonrise Party, sponsored by the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh, will begin at 6:55 p.m. Saturday, weather permitting, at the Nicholas E. Wagman Observatory in Deer Lakes Regional Park, near the village of Russellton, Frazer Township, Allegheny County. Call 724-224-2510.
