Raymond Edward Eifler
Raymond Edward Eifler, 77, of Butler, passed away Sunday, at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.
Born March 14, 1940, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Raymond Edward Eifler Sr. and Virginia Bush Eifler.
Ray attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics (PIA) and worked as a lead mechanic for US Airways, until retiring in November of 1999.
In his early years, Ray was an avid hunter. He became a classic car enthusiast and enjoyed attending car cruises. He was also an avid fan of the Pittsburgh sports teams.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Eifler, whom he married on April 26, 2000; his three children, Eric Eifler, of Virginia, Valerie (Kevin) Caminiti, also of Virginia, and Kimberly (Roger) Pettner, of Rochester, Pa.; and five grandchildren, Samantha Quinn, Jessica and Michael Caminiti and Dalton and Shelby Vales.
EIFLER — Services for Raymond Edward Eifler, who died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017, are to be held privately by his family.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
Ray’s family suggests memorial contributions be made in his honor, to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, Pa., 16053 or to the VNA Hospice, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, Pa. 16001.
