Nature, Wildlife Art Show winners listed

Mark Anderson's acrylic painting“Owl in the Oak”won Best of Show in the Butler Art Center's annual Nature and Wildlife Art Show.

Winners in the Butler Art Center’s annual Nature and Wildlife Art Show included Mark Anderson, whose acrylic painting called “Owl in the Oak” garnered Best of Show honors.

Other winners in the four separate categories were:

Sue Baechtel, “Sitting Bull,” acrylic, honorable mention

Gina Judy, “Cadillac Mountain Pass,” mixed media, second

Patricia Young, “Fishing Pond, Brush Creek,” pastel, honorable mention

The Nature and Wildlife exhibit continues through Sept. 30 at the Art Center, 344 S. Main St.

Regular hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
