[naviga:h3]Walmart to offer premium diapers[/naviga:h3]

NEW YORK — Walmart has its eye on the premium diaper market, as more people are getting automatic shipments from online sellers and the company that owns Babies R Us has filed for bankruptcy.

The nation’s largest retailer is launching premium diapers as part of the relaunch of its 20-year-old Parent’s Choice brand.

The Parent’s Choice diapers, which are being priced starting at $7.24 for a pack of 35, are just hitting some Walmart stores now and will be online next month.

[naviga:h3]Ford autonomous cars in Lyft network[/naviga:h3]

DETROIT — Ford is working to integrate its autonomous cars with Lyft’s ride-hailing software so someday Ford can carry Lyft passengers.

The two companies will link their software in a partnership announced Wednesday.

At first human-driven cars from Ford will carry Lyft passengers. The automaker plans to connect its self-driving test cars to Lyft’s network. But they won’t carry passengers until they’re fully tested. The companies didn’t give a time frame for integrating services.

In July Lyft announced it would open its network to other companies for self-driving car research. Lyft also has partnerships with Google’s Waymo autonomous car unit and General Motors.
