JEFFERSON TWP — Good Samaritan Hospice, a mission of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, will host the annual Memorial Walk “Celebrate the Journey” Sept. 30 at Saxony Farm, Addy Boy Lane, Saxonburg.

The free event honors the memory of loved ones whether or not they were patients at the hospice.

Registration will be at 12:45 p.m. There will be an opening prayer service and tribute ceremony at 1 p.m. followed by the tribute walk and a staff commemoration at 2 p.m. Activities will be available for children.

Footprints are available to add to the “Celebrate the Journey” commemorative display at the event.

SLIPPERY ROCK — All Saints Lutheran Church, 351 S. Main St., will have its annual rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

There will also be a bake sale.
