10:29 p.m. Wednesday — Police say Shane G. Leasure, 44, of Butler was arrested and charged with simple assault, harassment and defiant trespass after officers investigated a domestic disturbance on Victor Road. Police said the victim suffered a minor injury and did not require medical treatment.

2:05 p.m. Aug. 6 — Police said Mia Koops, 21, of Lyndora was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and restrictions on alcoholic beverages after police responded to a report of suspicious activity and stopped her vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. Police said they found a bong and an open can of beer in Koops’ vehicle.

5:43 p.m. Aug. 5 — Police said Michael J. Tack, 38, of East Butler was charged with drunken driving, accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property, careless driving, restriction on alcoholic beverages, and public drunkenness after a nonreportable accident on Main Street in Lyndora.
