Two charged with prostitution after raid in Cranberry Twp.

Di Xu

CRANBERRY TWP - Township police have made two arrests in their investigation into Ailian Chen Foot Massage.

Police today arrested Di Xu, 41, and Jing Wang, 45, both of Cranberry Township for involvement in corrupt organizations, promoting prostitution and possessing instruments of a crime.

They are being held on $250,000 bail.

The investigation began in early June of this year, according to a criminal complaint.

Arresting officer Sgt. Matthew Irvin first began investigating after receiving numerous complaints and observing suspicious behavior at and around the establishment.

He observed around 50 patrons, all males, enter the parlor, parking in adjacent lots and often looking around before darting into the building, according to documents.

This ultimately led to an undercover operation during which two officers were allegedly solicited to receive a sex act.

The officers collected enough evidence to warrant a raid that took place Thursday, Aug. 9 and resulted in the arrests of the two women.

A full report will appear in tomorrow's Butler Eagle.
