CRANBERRY TWP — Crossroad Community, a local church, has joined with Starting Fresh Appliances, based in Cranberry, to provide washers and dryers to victims of Butler’s recent flooding.

Crossroad Community will finance washers and dryers at up to $450 per set. Once a need is identified, flood victims will be contacted directly and Garrett Crocker of Starting Fresh Appliances will deliver and install the set.

“Many families in our neighborhood lost their washers and dryers in the flood, and most insurance policies do not cover these appliances,” said Jeff Harris, pastor of Crossroad Community. “We want to provide some relief to these families, and this is another way we can do it.”
