Kristen King Lauster

Kristen King Lauster, 51, of Butler passed away on Wednesday.

Born March 27, 1966, in Freeport, she was the daughter of Robert C. King and Dolores “Dolly” Syput King.

Kristen was a 1984 graduate of Knoch High School.

She was the owner of Aruba Tanning and Hair Salon in Butler. She was of Catholic faith.

Kristen enjoyed planting flowers and cooking. She loved being outdoors, lying by the pool and vacationing down in Summersville, W.Va.

Kristen was an animal lover, especially with her bulldogs. She was deeply loved by her family and many friends.

Surviving are her husband, Gary Lauster, who she married Sept. 23, 1994; her mother, Dolores “Dolly” Syput King of Cabot; her daughter, Olivia Lauster of Butler; her brothers, Randy (Lisa) King of Wexford, Jeff (Donna) King of Medina, Ohio, and Michael (Shelly) King of Butler; her stepson, Heath (Laura) Lauster of Butler; her stepdaughter, Leah (Justin) Reese of Butler; her stepgrandsons, Kyle Lauster and Finn Reese; her in-laws, Elmer and Joann Lauster of Butler; and her brothers-in-law, sisters-in law, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert C. King, and her brother, Bob King.

LAUSTER — There will be no visitation for Kristen King Lauster, who died on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. Services will be private.

Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society.
