BlueSox set for No. 500
The Butler BlueSox will play the 500th game in franchise history at 6:35 p.m. Thursday against Chillicothe at Kelly Automotive Park.
The game will also mark their 250th home contest of all-time.
Also, in conjunction with the City of Butler’s Stadium Authority, the BlueSox will donate $3 from every ticket sold for Wednesday’s game to the Butler Emergency Relief Initiative, a division of the local United Way, for the benefit of the city’s West End flood victims.

The first 1,000 fans in attendance Thursday will receive a Babe The Ox Bobblehead. A fireworks show will take place after the game.
The BlueSox are in their ninth season of play in the Prospect League.
