These following items have been collected from various police departments.

6:35 p.m. Friday — A two-vehicle accident happened on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.

Staci L. Weiher, 41, of Pittsburgh, was driving south on I-79 behind the Chevrolet Tahoe of Thomas E. Anderson, 46, of Fairview, Pa. Weiher’s Tacoma rear-ended the Tahoe as it slowed down in a construction zone.

Weiher and one of her passengers, Margaret A. Singer, 48, of Dormont, Pa., were suspected to have suffered minor injuries, as was Anderson.

Weiher was cited with following too closely.

Friday — Ronda Sue Jones, 49, of Greenville, Pa., was charged with retail theft following an incident at Country Market in Pine Township.

Jones allegedly was caught putting items in her purse and leaving the store without paying for them. The investigation continues.

Monday-Wednesday — Leah Sammons, 32, of Volant, Pa., was charged with burglary following an incident at 859 New Castle Mercer Road in Springfield Township.

Sammons allegedly entered the residence of Jason Lane, 32, of Mercer, Pa., and Ashley Adams, of New Castle, Pa., through unsecured doors.

Sammons allegedly took a knife from the kitchen, damaged the victim’s vehicle with it, and then sprayed mace into an open window where Lane and Adams were sleeping.

Sammons also allegedly returned to the residence when no one was home, broke in through a window and tore up pictures hanging on their refrigerator.

April 28-May 23 — Access device fraud happened at Bessemer Federal Credit Union in Perry Township between the dates listed.

The investigation continues. Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact State Police Trooper Lesko at 724-662-6162.

[naviga:h3]State Police, Kittanning[/naviga:h3]

11:03 a.m. Friday — Two woman were cited with harassment following an incident Friday at 3208 Dutch Run Road in Shelocta, Armstrong County.

A 24-year-old female, of Dayton, Pa., spit in the face of a 19-year-old female, also of Dayton, Pa. The 19-year-old then slapped the 24-year-old in the face.

Friday — A theft happened Friday at Sugarcreek Rest Home in Sugarcreek Township.

There are no suspects in the theft, which was of $50. Police are continuing their investigation.
