CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases:
Philip Martino, 35, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of retail theft filed June 13 by Butler state police. A charge of receiving stolen property was withdrawn.
Dennis Jones, 30, of Chicora waived to court charges of driving under the influence, driving at an unsafe speed, failure to keep right, careless driving and disregarding traffic lanes filed March 29 by Butler state police.
Mark Fredenberg, age unknown, of Butler was held for court on a charge of theft by deception filed June 13 by Butler state police.
William Kammerdiener, 51, of Chicora waived to court charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana, driving under the influence, disorderly conduct, driving while blood-alcohol concentration is .02 or greater while license is suspended, driving an unregistered vehicle, failure to notify of change of name or address, failure to notify change in address, operating a vehicle without insurance, failure to keep right, disregarding traffic lanes, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving and operating a vehicle without inspection filed April 13 by Butler state police.
James Keeling, 49, of Chicora was held for court on charges of making terroristic threats, simple assault (two counts) and harassment filed April 3 by Butler state police.
Jason Womack, 42, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, DUI high rate, disobeying traffic control devices, driving on the wrong side of the road, disregarding traffic lanes, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving, reckless driving, failure to use safety belt and operating a vehicle without valid inspection filed June 13 by Butler state police.
Savannah Blust, 24, of Petrolia was held for court on charges of manufacture, delivery or possession with Intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance (two counts); dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities; intent to promote use of controlled substance (two counts); possession of a controlled substance (two counts); and possession of drug paraphernalia (two counts) filed June 9 by Butler state police.
Macklin Haye, 24, of Petrolia waived to court charges of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance (two counts); dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities; intent to promote use of controlled substance (two counts); possession of a controlled substance (two counts); and possession of drug paraphernalia (two counts) filed June 9 by Butler state police.
Amber Trufley, 35, of New Castle was held for court on charges of receiving stolen property, operating a vehicle without insurance, operating a vehicle without valid inspection and having a suspended vehicle registration filed June 13 by Butler state police.
Justin Selfridge, 22, of Bruin pleaded guilty to a charge of theft by unlawful taking filed May 7 by Butler state police. A charge of receiving stolen property was withdrawn.
John Janicki, 25, of Butler was held for court on charges of driving under the influence high rate of alcohol and driving under the influence of a controlled substance filed June 20 by Butler state police. A charge of careless driving was dismissed.
George Martin Jr., age unknown, of Chicora pleaded guilty to a charge of bad checks filed June 7 by File’s Inc.
Patrick Bookwalter, 35, of Rimersburg waived to court charges of possession of a prohibited firearm, burglary, robbery, conspiracy to commit burglary, conspiracy to commit robbery, aggravated assault (two charges), criminal attempt, conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking, simple assault (two counts), recklessly endangering another person (two counts), loitering and prowling at night, and harassment (two counts) filed June 20 by Butler state police.
Justin Newman, 28, of Butler was held for court on charges of drug delivery resulting in death, involuntary manslaughter, manufacture, delivery or possession of a controlled substance (two counts) and possession of a controlled substance filed May 19 by Butler state police.
Patrick Russell, 48, of Penn Hills, Pa., waived to court charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment filed June 2 by Butler state police.
Braden Stevenson, 18, of East Brady waived to court a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia filed June 20 by Butler state police. Charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a small amount of marijuana were withdrawn.
Jason McWilliams, 28, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of burglary, criminal trespass, terroristic threats, simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment, public drunkenness, resisting arrest, criminal attempt to escape and escape filed June 6 by Butler state police.
Michael Bure, 36, of Worthington, Pa., was held for court on charges of burglary, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal attempt theft by unlawful taking, conspiracy to commit criminal attempt theft by unlawful taking, criminal trespass, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, conspiracy to commit simple assault and conspiracy to commit loitering and prowling at night filed June 15 by Butler state police.
Eric Zmijowski, 36, of Valencia waived to court charges of driving under the influence, driving without a license and depositing waste on a highway filed June 20 by Butler state police. A charge of careless driving was withdrawn.
Joseph Painter, 34, of Kittanning waived to court charges of burglary, robbery, conspiracy to commit burglary, conspiracy to commit robbery, criminal attempt to commit burglary, conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking, criminal trespass, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, conspiracy to commit simple assault and loitering and prowling at night filed June 9 by Butler state police.
