A three-vehicle accident resulted in a DUI arrest around 12:42 p.m. Friday near the intersection of North Main and Penn streets in Butler.

According to Butler Fire Capt. Kevin McAfee, a man was driving a BMW, which collided into the back of a parked GMC Yukon. The Yukon was forced forward and hit the back of a parked Kia Sportage.

The man, whose name was not available, was unconscious when firefighters, police and paramedics arrived on scene. The man was revived using Narcan, which is used to treat heroin overdoses.

The man was arrested on site for driving under the influence and was transported to Butler County Prison.

The parked cars were owned by two Butler Township women, whose names were not available.

One of the women said they were in a coffee shop where they heard the collision. They said their vehicles received minor damage.

MADISON TWP, Armstrong County — A New Bethlehem man was charged with 46 counts related to sexual assault and rape following four incidents between March 24 and May 19 at a residence in the township.

Grant Rupp, 19, was arrested for four alleged sexual assaults of a 12-year-old female, who reported the alleged assaults to State Police in Kittanning.

Rupp was charged with two counts of rape, two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, four counts of statutory sexual assault, 12 counts of aggravated indecent assault, four counts of sexual assault, four counts of corruption of minors, four counts of simple assault, 12 counts of indecent assault and four counts of harassment.

Rupp is in Armstrong County jail on $50,000 bail.

A Mississippi man was charged with two counts of driving under the influence Friday following an incident in Butler.

John Robert Stell, 31, of Clinton, Miss., was arrested by Butler police and charged with DUI: General implication/indication of driving safely and DUI: Controlled substance or Metabolite, both misdemeanors and first offenses.

Stell is in Butler County Prison awaiting a preliminary hearing and preliminary arraignment. Bail is set at $25,000.
