William “Railroad” T. Allman

William “Railroad” T. Allman, 68, of Saxonburg passed away unexpectedly at his home Thursday.

He was born Oct. 14, 1948, in New Kensington. He was the son of Albert Allman and Margaret Saunders Allman.

Bill was an extremely good-hearted man. He would help anyone with anything. Bill was a U.S. Navy veteran and was in the U.S. National Guard. He worked for Conrail at Allegheny Ludlum for many years. He was a member of Saxonburg VFW and the Sarver Vets.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Barkley Allman, whom he married June 26, 1970; two daughters, Rene Allman of Saxonburg and Stacy Nguyen of Valencia; his brother, Albert H. Allman of Waukesha, Wis.; and four sisters, Margaret (Wayne) Kelley of Sarver, Sharon (Gary) Duffy of Pray, Mont., Eleanore Chmiel of Saxonburg and Michelle Caldwell of Cabot.

He also is survived by his granddaughter, Katelyn Allman; grandson, Dylan Cunningham; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

ALLMAN — Friends of William “Railroad” T. Allman who died Thursday, May 25, 2017, will be received 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev.
