KC nips Meridian

Colton Hutchison scored the deciding run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the sixth inning in Karns City’s 7-6 victory over Meridian in Butler County legion baseball action Saturday in Fairview Township.

Cam Blair blasted a two-run home run and added a single at the plate while allowing just one hit in five shut-out innings of relief to earn the pitching win.

Tyler Yough singled, doubled and tripled for the victors while Zach Blair singled and doubled for Karns City (5-4).

For Meridian, Joel Stutz singled and doubled and Jace Stutz singled twice.

West Sunbury 10, Center Township 0 — Nathan Sosigian allowed only one hit over five innings as West Sunbury rolled.

Andrew Dulya singled three times and drove in four runs in the victory. Josh Adamson, Hunter Fitzingo and Jared Lominski each tallied two hits.

Jacob Somerville had the lone hit for Center Township.
