MIDLAND, Beaver County — “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” based on Victor Hugo’s gothic novel, will feature a Butler County resident in the final show of the 2016-17 season at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center.

Mark Tinkey of Evans City will play the role of Frederic Charlus among the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School students and alumni, resident artists, and working Equity actors.

With a rich score and choral arrangements featuring an on-stage 30-person choir, this musical is a dramatic retelling of the tragic Hugo classic combined with the musical elements of the Disney film including the Oscar-nominated score and new songs.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and June 23 and 24, and at 2 p.m. Sunday and June 25.

Tickets are $15 to $20 and available by calling 724-576-4644 or online at www.LincolnParkArts.org.
