A Butler man was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital Thursday afternoon after crashing his motorcycle on Carbon Center Road in Summit Township. The 57-year-old driver lost control shortly after 5 p.m. while riding southbound near railroad tracks on the 200 block of the road, state police said. No other vehicles were involved. The driver was wearing a helmet and was taken by East Butler EMS to the hospital with minor injuries. Traffic on the road was limited for about an hour. The Lick Hill Fire Department also responded.

SUMMIT TWP — A Butler man was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with injuries Thursday afternoon after crashing his motorcycle on Carbon Center Road.

The driver, a 57 year-old man, lost control shortly after 5 p.m. while driving southbound through a bend near railroad tracks on the 200 block of the road, state police at the scene said.

No other vehicles were involved. The driver was wearing a helmet and was taken by East Butler EMS to the hospital with minor injuries.

Traffic on the road was limited for about an hour. The Lick Hill Fire Department also responded.
