3-car crash may be blamed on medical issue
ADAMS TWP — A medical issue may have played a part in a crash Tuesday afternoon on Route 228.
Rescue officials say a Honda Accord struck the side of a westbound Chevrolet Tahoe at Route 228’s intersection with the Beaver Street Extension around 1 p.m.
The Honda then drifted into the front of a stopped Range Rover on the eastbound lane.
The Honda sustained moderate front damage, the Tahoe sustained moderate side damage and the Range Rover had minor front damage.
Township police officer Mike Bordt said the driver of the Honda may have suffered a medical issue before the crash. The driver was transported to a medical center for treatment.
Names of the drivers were not immediately available from police.
