BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE

Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, has the red church offering at both services Sunday to benefit cystic fibrosis organizations.

Baked goods for Tuesday’s Election Day sale should be delivered to the church kitchen Sunday, Monday or early Tuesday morning.

Community Life Church holds service at McQuistion Elementary School.

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH

The women’s missionary fellowship of First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Baptist Youth Center. Take a lunch.

There is a gourmet pancake breakfast at 9 a.m. Sunday at the church before Sunday school and worship.

FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN

The Sunday school children of First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., will sing “Father Abraham” and give handmade mementos to ladies of the congregation at the 11 a.m. Sunday service.

The finance committee meets at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

GRACE @ CALVARY LUTHERAN

The fellowship and service committee for Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., meets at 10 a.m. Friday.

Grace’s Closet, a free clothing bank, is open from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday and from 5 to 7 p.m. May 18.

The clothing bank is accepting contributions of children’s clothing. Deliver donations from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday at the church, or deliver donations anytime the closet is open.

The church council meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

GraceWay meets at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road.

To make pies for the mother’s celebration dinner, arrive at the church at 9 a.m. Friday.

Deliver bake sale items Friday and Saturday mornings at the church.

The annual mothers celebration dinner is at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN

St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, will have a blessing of soil, seed and water Sunday.

There is Communion at the 9:30 a.m. worship service Sunday. The outreach ministry leads the 2 p.m. worship service Sunday at Saxony Health Center, 223 Pittsburgh St., Saxonburg.

Youths sell Mother’s Day flower baskets and gardeners’ paradise/pancake breakfast tickets Sunday to benefit the youth mission trip.

Food bank participation begins at 6 p.m. Monday. The council meeting is at 7 p.m. Monday in the fellowship hall.

The generations choir rehearsal is at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran

In honor of Mother’s Day, St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., gives flowers to women attending the Sunday service.

SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 21 Evergreen St., Lyndora, marks the Sunday of Samaritan woman at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, before Divine Liturgy.
