Bluegrass/gospel coming to church
EAST BUTLER — East Butler Presbyterian Church, Ninth and Randolph streets, will host a bluegrass/gospel jam at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Local musicians are invited to bring instruments and join in.

Holy Hour dates picked for May
The Holy Hour for Peace will begin at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St.
There will be prayers for peace, vocations, On Mission for the Church Alive, novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, rosary and Benediction.
The Divine Mercy Holy Hour will begin at 7 p.m. May 16 at St. Paul. There will be prayers for family healing, Divine Mercy Chaplet, On Mission for the Church Alive and benediction.
Walk of Hope set Saturday morning
A Walk of Hope has been set for 10 a.m. to noon Saturday beginning at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 420 N. Main St.
Registration for the drug awareness walk begins at 9 a.m. The free walk is designed to bring awareness of the growing drug epidemic.
The walk begins at Westminster Church and continues to the Butler County Courthouse. Hot dogs and drinks will be provided.

St. Ferdinand sets patriotic rosary
CRANBERRY TWP — St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, will have a special patriotic rosary celebration at 7 p.m. Monday.
Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, all 50 states will be individually mentioned and prayed for, and also for the whole nation.
First Saturday Devotions slated
Blue Army will have First Saturday Devotions Saturday beginning with an 8 a.m. Mass at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., followed by the rosary.
A meeting will follow in the Collins Room with the Rev. Nick Argentieri as guest speaker.
