Butler High School senior Jefferson Ford surprised fellow Butler High senior Mady Lawrence with his prom invitation last week. They went for an unexpected and unexplained plane ride with pilot Steve Setnar in his Cessna 182. Flying over Ford’s house in the Stirling Glen subdivision, Jefferson pointed out the question painted in the backyard of his house. She said yes. Setnar is a pilot for Jet Blue and his wife, Kathy, is a friend of Jefferson’s mother, Mary, and was happy to make the aerial invitation come true. The prom is May 12, 2017.SUBMITTED PHOTO
