Icy road conditions were blamed for a one-vehicle accident about 4:15 p.m. Tuesday in Prospect that left a Butler woman in need of hospital treatment. State police said Kimberly White, 54, was southbound on Route 528 near the intersection with Country Lane Road when her Dodge Ram 1500 slid off the road and hit a tree. The truck rolled onto its side. White, who was wearing a seat belt, was reportedly taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Butler Ambulance Service and the Prospect Volunteer Fire Department assisted.
