7:42 a.m. Sunday — A pickup driven by Samuel Klimko, 21, of Pittsburgh hit a tree along Spithaler School Road in Forward Township.12:48 p.m. Saturday — An SUV driven by Wyatt McDeavitt, 18, of Boyers hit an embankment along Benbrook Road in Center Township before rolling over. He was not injured. The Unionville Volunteer Fire Company and Butler Ambulance assisted at the scene.7:30 a.m. Friday — Leighton J. Meals, 24, of Butler was given a blood test on suspicion of driving under the influence following a two-vehicle crash on Cashdollar Road in Forward Township.<h3>State Police, Kittanning</h3>6:27 p.m. Sunday — A 33-year-old Shelocta man, whom police did not identify, showed signs of impairment and was found with 44 bags of suspected heroin and related drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township. Charges are pending lab results.6:13 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Brittany Boyer, 24, of Parker hit an embankment along Route 422 in West Franklin Township and rolled over. Boyer reported minor injuries but refused treatment from EMS. She was charged with driving under the influence.5:30 p.m. Friday — A blue sedan driven by an unknown white male and a car driven by Carrie Thompson, 41, of Slippery Rock struck mirrors while passing on Route 68 in Bradys Bend Township. The male driver fled the scene.<h3>State Police, Mercer</h3>5:10 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Daniel Kurtek, 30, of Jackson Center went into a ditch along Mercer Butler Pike in Liberty Township. He was tested on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kurtek also was cited for not staying within a road's lanes.3:58 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Scott Cratty, 18, of Slippery Rock struck the rear of a subcompact SUV driven by Jody Ahern, 46, of Grove City that was slowing for a traffic signal. Cratty was cited for careless driving.
