Butler native Lonnie Lee Fowler moved to Nashville in 2000, and in 2008 a song he had written, “I’ll Walk” by “American Idol” contestant Bucky Conventon, hit the Top Ten on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. Fowler recently won the Harold Adamson Lyric Award for country music.Submitted photo
