Mildred L. Stelter

Mildred L. Stelter, 99, of Richland Township, formerly of Manchester, N.J., and Valley Stream, N.Y., died Sunday morning at the Arbors in Valencia.

Born in Richmond Hill, N.Y., on July 16, 1917, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Alma Davison Magill.

Mildred had worked as a secretary for Citi Corp Bank on Park Avenue in New York, retiring in 1972.

She was a member of the Modern Muses of Tom's River and the Leisure Village West-Deborah Golf, Bocci and Social Club. An ambassador at St. Barnabas, she enjoyed playing bridge there.

Mildred served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, reaching the rank of yeoman third class.

Surviving are her daughter, Marilyn Fiordilino and her husband, Anthony, of New York; her grandchildren, Denise (David) Tabacchi, Keith, Tracey and Nicole (Anthony) Guida; and her great-grandchildren, Gianna, Dante and Romeo.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Nicholas Casella, in 1968; her second husband, Kenneth Stelter, in 2004; one daughter, Lois Lessner; and one brother, James H. Magill.

STELTER — Friends of Mildred L. Stelter, who died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave. Mars. A blessing service will follow at 4 p.m. with the Rev.
