BC3 to hold 6 open house eventsBUTLER TWP — Butler County Community College is announcing six spring open houses starting next month for people interested in learning more about enrolling at the school.The first event will be March 30, at BC3’s campus at LindenPointe, Hermitage. Additional events will follow April 4 at the college’s Lawrence Crossing campus in New Castle; April 26 at Armstrong in Ford City; April 27 at the Brockway campus; and May 11 at the Cranberry Township campus. The events will run from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.An open house at Founders Hall at BC3’s main campus in Butler Township will be from 6 to 8 p.m. April 12.Those interested should visit bc3.edu/open-houses to register.
GCMC Volunteers offer scholarshipGROVE CITY — The Grove City Medical Center Volunteers is offering the $1,000 Mary Ellen Liggit Healthcare Scholarship to an area high school or college senior interested in pursuing a career in the health care industry.Applicants must complete an application form and essay explaining their goals and reasons for pursuing a career in health care service.Applications are due by April 15.
