Richard F. Dietrich
Richard F. Dietrich, 79, of Renfrew passed away Friday at UPMC Presbyterian.
He was born Jan. 5, 1938, in Butler to the late William N. Dietrich and the late Margaret Edwards Dietrich.
Richard was affiliated with the Christ Community United Methodist Church. He worked as a welder for Butler Armco. Richard was a member of the NRA, Ducks Unlimited and Butler Area Woodturners. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.
Richard is survived by his two sons, Michael Dietrich and his wife, Pamela, of Butler, and William Dietrich and his wife, Dr. Beccy Mosher, of Boston; three grandchildren, Timothy John Schubert, Max Dietrich and Anna Dietrich; one sister, Mary Ann Tennyson and her husband, Larry, of Tucson, Ariz.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol A. Dietrich, who died Aug. 17, 2009, and one sister.
DIETRICH — Funeral services for Richard F. Dietrich, who died Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, were conducted at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, with the Rev. Bruce Gascoine of Christ Community United Methodist Church officiating.
