State Police, Butler4:45 p.m. Thursday — A three-vehicle accident happened at the intersection of Route 68 and Hays Lane.Kirisa N. Taimuty, 24, of Butler was turning left onto Route 68 north from Hays Lane when she was hit by a vehicle driven by Samantha S. Landgraf, 19, of Chicora, who was heading south on Route 68.This caused Taimuty’s vehicle to spin clockwise and hit the vehicle of Leah E. Semler, 30, of Butler, who was slowing to turn left onto Hays Lane.Taimuty suffered minor injuries and was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital. Neither Landgraf nor Semler were injured. Taimuty’s passenger also was not injured.Taimuty was issued two summary violations. Butler state police, Lick Hill Fire Department, Oneida Valley Fire Department, Butler Ambulance Service and Chicora EMS were on the scene.7:30 a.m. Thursday — A 60-year-old male’s firearm was stolen from a vehicle on Tower Lane in Center Township. The investigation continues.12:53 a.m. Thursday — Austin James Wickline, 22, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs following a traffic stop on North Main Street Extension in Butler Township.Wickline was stopped for an equipment violation. Wickline submitted a blood test, and charges are pending test results. Wickline’s passenger, William Edward Loughner, 44, of Butler was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance.He was charged for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.Noon Jan. 16 to 1 p.m. Jan. 19 — Between the dates listed, the residence of David Edwin Young, 60, at 134 W. Liberty Road in Slippery Rock was burglarized.Items missing included two televisions, a computer and a printer. There are no suspects.
