A line of elephants stands outside as the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus comes to Butler in July 1954. The circus unloaded from trains that stopped at Monroe Street and set up at the old Butler Fairgrounds where Butler High School now stands. It was Ringling’s last stop here.
