Sharon E. Eaton DeLisi
Sharon E. Eaton DeLisi, 69, of Hooksett, N.H., entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Dec. 17, 2016, in Concord, N.H., after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born March 17, 1947, in Cortland, N.Y., to Stephen and Arvila Branch Eaton. She lived in Scranton, Pa.; Bridgeton, N.J.; Butler; Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; Philadelphia; Belleville, Ill.; Columbus, Ohio; and Manchester, N.H., before moving to Hooksett in 1988.
She earned a bachelor's degree from Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, Pa., and a PHT (Putting Hubby Through) degree from the spouses association of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Sharon was active with church missionary work over many years. She also assisted her husband with his medical practice and was a member of the Advocates of the American Osteopathic Association. She enjoyed singing in church choirs, gardening and being with people. She especially enjoyed time spent with her family.
The family includes her husband of 48 years, Nate F. DeLisi, D.O., of Hooksett, N.H.; two children, Jennifer White and her husband, Eric, of Montevideo, Minn., and Joshua DeLisi of Manchester, N.H.; two granddaughters, Sophia White and Olivia White; four siblings, Marian Risoff of Chicago and San Diego, Carolyn Orr and her husband, Arthur, of Binghamton, N.Y., Chauncey Eaton and his wife, Judie, of Moravia, N.Y., and Martin Eaton and his wife, Lucille, of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
