Jack L. Bicehouse
Jack L. Bicehouse, 86, of Connoquenessing Township, passed away Friday in the comfort of his home surrounded by family.
Born April 18, 1930, he was the son of the late Charles A. Bicehouse Sr. and Cleo M. (Marburger) Bicehouse.
Jack was a faithful member of the Connoquenessing United Methodist Church where he served as a lay-leader. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He worked for MSA for 36 years until retirement and was awarded patents for his role in developing liquid metal.
Jack was active in community service, serving two terms as chairman for the Connoquenessing Township Supervisors, as a lifetime member of the Executive Board of Butler County Supervisors and an honorary member of the Butler County Association of Township Supervisors.
Jack was also active in harness racing and enjoyed racing horses at The Meadows.
Above all, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
Jack leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 62 years, Doris M. (Lefever) Bicehouse; his children, Brenda L. (Roger) Biedenbach of Carnegie, Keith A. (Pamela) Bicehouse of Prospect and Dr. Vaughn L. (Patricia) Bicehouse of Grove City; five grandchildren, Adelyn Biedenbach, Elizabeth (Cari) Kelso, Grace Bicehouse, Craig (Tory) Bicehouse and Elijah Bicehouse; and a sister, Laura “Doll” (Lester) Knox of Connoquenessing Township.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by a grandson, Benjamin Bicehouse and two brothers, Ken Bicehouse and Charles “Artie” Bicehouse.
BICEHOUSE — The family of Jack L.
