State Police, Butler12:33 a.m. Friday — Jeremiah Brockman, 21, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance.Brockman was stopped in the 1400 block of North Main Street Extension in Center Township after police received a call about a reckless driver. Brockman was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges are pending Brockman’s blood lab results.11:26 p.m. Thursday — A one-vehicle accident happened on Herman Road in Clearfield Township.Shariff M. Boddie, 29, of Indiana, Pa., was driving an Oldsmobile Aurora east on Herman Road when the Aurora slid on the snow-covered road, spun clockwise and left the road, hitting a utility pole with its rear left side.Boddie was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. He was not cited in the incident due to the road condition.4 p.m. Thursday — Two 17-year-old males were charged with simple assault following incidents at Summit Academy in Summit Township.One of the males, of Johnstown, Cambria County, left his room unprovoked and punched another male, 17, also of Johnstown, in the face.A short time later, the victim was standing in a single-file line and punched a friend of his attacker, another 17-year-old, of Johnstown, in the head three times in what is believed to be retaliation for the initial assault.Both of the accused were charged with harassment and simple assault.
