State Police, Butler3:44 p.m. Saturday — Matthew J. Mahlmeister, 32, of Sarver was involved in a one-vehicle accident on Bonniebrook Road in Jefferson Township.Mahlmeister was driving a Toyota Tacoma around half a mile north of Archie Lane when the Tacoma left the road, losing traction and swerving into a utility pole guide wire. The Tacoma then hit an embankment before stopping. It is unknown if Mahlmeister was injured. He was not transported to a hospital by EMS. He was cited for a traffic violation.8:20 p.m. Friday — Jamie Todd Pyle of Chicora was charged with aggravated assault and making terroristic threats to two 18-year-old males at Rummy Mart in Chicora.7:52 p.m. Friday — Stephen M. Moore, 38, of Guys Mills, Pa., was charged with possession with intent to deliver and driving under the influence following a traffic stop at mile marker 79.4 on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township.Moore was in possession of marijuana and narcotics.7:06 p.m. Friday — Tony Reid Koegler, 21, of Karns City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence in the Dairy Queen parking lot at 151 Freeport Road in Summit Township.Koegler was seated in the driver’s seat of a vehicle, which was running with the keys in the ignition when he overdosed. He was treated by Butler EMS and refused further treatment.He was suspected of driving under the influence and taken to Butler Memorial Hospital to have his blood drawn to determine his blood-alcohol level. Charges are pending the results of the blood draw.4 p.m. Dec. 12 — A rifle was reported stolen on West Sunbury Road in Marion Township. The victim is a 70-year-old man. The investigation continues.

State Police, Kittanning4:45 p.m. Nov. 23 — Two men, who police did not identify, were charged with possession of controlled substances on Bunker Hill Road in North Buffalo Township.Police assisted Kittanning EMS with a medical incident that occurred in a vehicle. One of the males was found to be driving under the influence, and both were found to be in possession of controlled substances. The DUI charge is pending laboratory results.4 p.m. Friday — A two-vehicle accident happened on Bunker Hill Road in North Buffalo Township.A 53-year-old male from Kittanning attempted to pass the vehicle of a 38-year-old male of Charlottesville, Va., on the left of an un-laned road and struck the vehicle in the process.Police did not identify the drivers.After initial impact the 53-year-old male fled the scene. Police made contact with him at his residence, and he was cited for violations related to the accident.

State Police, Mercer8:42 p.m. Friday — A man and woman, who police did not identify, were charged with retail theft after an incident at Guess Retail Outlet at Grove City Outlets in Springfield Township.They allegedly put 38 T-shirts and two jogging suits into shopping bags and left the store. The value of the merchandise totaled $953.60.
