Santa Claus of the North Pole will begin watching for letters sent to the Butler Eagle from now until Dec. 9.

Handwritten letters may be placed in the red box located in the lobby of the Butler Eagle office. E-mailed letters also may be submitted through the link on the Eagle’s website, www.butlereagle.com.

Letters should include the author’s name, age and locale, and families with multiple children should submit individual letters for each child.

Claus said he looks forward to reading the letters from all the Butler County children. He said his favorite letters are those from selfless children who also think of the people in their lives.

“I love when children receive joy, but also when they share it.”
