Main Street will be closed for part of Saturday afternoon for activities to mark the start of the Christmas season, concluding with a parade starting at 5:30 p.m.

Main Street will be closed starting at 5 p.m. from Wayne Street to Pearl Street with all side streets closed. The detour will be Washington and McKean streets. The parade is expected last until 7 p.m.

The Christmas tree in Diamond Park will be illuminated for Light Up Night during the event.
