Butler Police3:04 a.m. Saturday — Devin Lee Parker, 27, of Butler was nabbed coming out of the driver’s side door of a box truck at the parking lot of the Salvation Army in the 300 block of West Cunningham Street.Police found Parker after initially being called for a man seen looking into vehicle windows. Officers searched him, according to court documents, and found a spoon with suspected heroin residue on it.Parker is charged with loitering and prowling at night, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Butler Twp PoliceMonday — Theresa L. Fulmer, 50, of Butler was charged with drunken driving stemming from a wreck last month on Armco Drive. Police said she drove off the wrong side of the road about 12:40 a.m. Oct. 29 and crashed in a ditch. She was not injured but her car had to be towed.In addition to driving under the influence, Fulmer is charged with driving on the wrong side of the road, driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving.Monday — Police charged Justin J. O’Donnell, 26, of Butler with DUI in connection with a one-vehicle crash on Oct. 9 at Whitestown Road. O’Donnell’s motorcycle crashed into a guardrail about 11:30 p.m. near Fairground Hill Road.He was not hurt in the wreck but he appeared intoxicated, according to a police report. He is charged with DUI and careless driving.9:40 p.m. Sunday — Lance A Flowers, 27, and Charleen R. McConnell, 25, both of Butler were arrested after they allegedly assaulted one another during a fight on Old Plank Road.Both suspects suffered minor injuries but they refused medical treatment. Flowers and McConnell were arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,000 bail and $1,000 bail, respectively.5:28 p.m. Sunday — Kevin Hawks, 38, of Butler was arrested after he was found intoxicated at Alameda Park. Police cited him for public drunkenness.3:04 a.m. Friday — Michael W. Daugherty, 49, of Lyndora was arrested after he allegedly assaulted another person during a fight at a home on Bessemer Avenue. The victim suffered a bruised forehead but declined medical treatment.Daugherty was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $3,000 bail following arraignment.1:59 p.m. Nov. 8 — Lashawn Barber, 41, and Cherilee Chapman, 44, both of Pittsburgh fled the Butler Commons’ Walmart after a store employee initially stopped them for shoplifting. Both suspects face charges of retail theft.
State Police, Butler2:32 a.m. Sunday — Levi J. Helms, 18, of West Sunbury was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of marijuana at Route 8 and Mercer Road in Center Township. He was later taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test.Charges, including DUI, are pending toxicology results, police said.1:51 a.m. Sunday — Dakota A. Lechner, 21, of Butler was arrested for suspected drunken driving after he crashed his vehicle in Summit Township.Police said Lechner lost control of his car while traveling too fast around a curve on Herman Road near Levi Lane and struck a utility pole. His car continued into shrubbery before ending up in a front yard.He was not wearing his seat belt and suffered an unknown injury. Lechner was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test. Charges, including DUI, are pending lab tests.12:59 a.m. Sunday — Jenna R. McCorry, 24, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI at Route 8 and Mercer Road in Center Township.11:44 p.m. Saturday — Paul Yost, 65, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and prescription medication on Holyoke Road in Center Township.Yost was subsequently taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for a blood test. Charges of drunken and drugged driving are pending toxicology results.
State Police, Kittanning3:31 a.m. Sunday — A 21-year-old Charlotte, N.C., man, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Franklin Hill Road in East Franklin Township. Police said charges are pending lab tests.11:32 p.m. Saturday — Authorities found an empty stamp bag of suspected heroin on the ground in front of the entrance of the ACMH Hospital emergency room in East Franklin Township. The contraband was turned over to police, who have no suspects in their ongoing investigation.
State Police, MercerFriday — A crossbow was stolen from a vehicle around 7 p.m. Friday at a parking lot in the 2000 block of Leesburg-Grove City Road in Springfield Township.
