Butler Police12:05 a.m. Saturday — A 22-year-old Butler man was hurt during a suspected assault at a home in the 400 block of South McKean Street. The alleged victim, Tyler Fusaro-Podobensky, told authorities that he was attacked and his assailant fled.However, according to a police report, he provided little other information and refused to cooperate in the investigation. He also refused medical treatment for unspecified injuries.

Slippery Rock PoliceWednesday — Police charged an Allegheny County teenager with drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop about 11:05 p.m. Nov. 5 on Keister Road.The suspect, 19-year-old Amy Rae Kyser of Coraopolis, smelled of alcohol and appeared intoxicated. She was arrested after a portable breath test showed she had alcohol in her system, according to court documents.A breathalyzer test subsequently showed her blood-alcohol level was 0.021 percent. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit for someone under 21 is 0.02 percent.In addition to driving under the influence by a minor, Kyser is charged with minors prohibited from driving with any alcohol in their system, and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.

State Police, ButlerSunday — The fire marshal’s unit continues to investigate the cause of a Thursday evening fire that gutted a home in the 600 block of West Sunbury Road in Center Township. Damage was estimated at $175,000.Occupants Paul and Irene Kiser were both home when the fire broke out about 6:10 p.m. Thursday but they got out and no injuries were reported. The couple had lived at the house for 65 years, family members said. It was formerly a one-room schoolhouse.Police said Brian Kiser of Germantown, Md., owns the home.2:29 p.m. Saturday — Jeffrey Christy, 45, of Butler was hurt in a two-vehicle wreck at Route 208 and Branchton Road in Cherry Township. Christy, one of the drivers, suffered an apparent minor injury. He was wearing a seat belt.Police cited the other driver, Cullen S. Kelly, 20, of Butler, for driving at an unsafe speed.5:18 a.m. Nov. 4 — Codey R. Double, 25, of Boyers was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 8 at Route 108 in Slippery Rock Township. Double is charged with DUI, careless driving and a stop sign violation.

State Police, Kittanning3:40 a.m. Saturday — A 54-year-old woman, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after she was found passed out behind the wheel of a car at the Sheetz convenience store parking lot on Route 422 in Manor Township.Saturday — Police reported they are investigating the alleged indecent assault of two girls at a home in Manor Township. The suspected assault occurred between May 20 and Oct. 20. Police released no other information about their investigation.

State Police, MercerSunday — A number of unspecified items were stolen in a burglary at the School House Shops on Route 19 in Springfield Township. The break-in happened between 6 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Sunday. A police report did not indicate if there are any suspects.3:01 a.m. Saturday — A Harrisville woman, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Farrell Road near Hendersonville Road in Sandy Lake Township.5 p.m. Thursday — An identity thief used a 38-year-old Wolf Creek Township woman’s debit card to purchase a $157 MoneyGram. A police report did not indicate if there are any suspects in the access device fraud case.Wednesday — Assorted unidentified items were stolen from a storage unit at GC Mini Storage in Pine Township, Mercer County. The burglary happened between Nov. 2 and Wednesday. It was not immediately known if police have any suspects.Nov. 5 — An unknown thief stole a trailer at a hunting camp in the 1100 block of Ridge Road in Pine Township, Mercer County. The trailer, owned by a 77-year-old Allegheny County man, was taken between Nov. 1 and 5.

State Park RangersTuesday — Michael T. Vose, 18, of Butler was charged with drunken driving stemming from an incident last month at Moraine State Park in Brady Township.Rangers said they found Vose about 9:45 p.m. Oct. 31 in an idling car parked at the upper Route 528 boat launch when the parked was closed. In the car, according to court documents, was a half empty can of beer.The teen reeked of alcohol and admitted drinking beer. He was searched and found with a set of brass knuckles. rangers said.Vose later was taken for a breath test, which showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.05 percent. The legal driving limit is 0.02 percent for a minor under state law.He is charged with driving under the influence, possession of a prohibited offensive weapon and being at the park while closed.
