Aaron Bernstine, a Republican who was elected Tuesday to represent the 10th District in the state House of Representatives, announced today that he has set up a toll-free hot line for district residents in need of help with state government.

Bernstine said the hot line, 855-282-0615, will help residents of the 10th District “access assistance with state government concerns or questions.”

Bernstine, who defeated Democrat incumbent Jaret Gibbons in the Nov. 8 general election, will take over representing portions of Beaver, Butler and Lawrence counties on Dec. 1.

The hotline’s creation comes after Gibbons announced last week that his legislative offices would be closing permanently starting last Friday.
