State Police, Mercer9:33 a.m. Nov. 10 — Wilson Acosta, 24, and Christopher A. Sanchez, 23, both of New York, N.Y., were charged with felony criminal conspiracy, access device fraud, identity theft and receiving stolen property.They were pulled over for summary code violations on Interstate 80 in Wolfcreek Township. Police said they found numerous fraudulent state ID cards, fraudulent U.S. passport cards, fraudulent credit cards and fraudulently obtained Apple iPhones.Police further investigated and linked this to victims in Pennsylvania, Texas and South Carolina who had their identities stolen. Sanchez and Acosta had allegedly used these stolen identities to make thousands of dollars of fraudulent purchases at numerous Best Buy locations throughout Wisconsin before heading back to New York City.
