Butler Police10:14 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Rebecca Porter, 43, of Butler struck a legally parked car owned by Steven Bacheler of Butler on Mercer Street. Porter was charged with driving under the influence and not driving at a safe speed.Monday — A front bumper of a car owned by Tabitha Switzer was damaged while it was parked at 507 Federal St. between midnight Saturday and 2:36 p.m. Monday.

State Police, Butler5:09 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Philip Ketzel, 40, of Slippery Rock crossed over the uphill median along Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township into the southbound lanes after a deer jumped onto the hood.Monday — Sandra Foster of Prospect reported someone had tampered with an exterior door to her residence at Coral Ridge Trailer Park between 9 a.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Monday in an attempt to gain entry.
