The Mercer Livestock Auction provided the following report from Tuesday:

Heavy commercial bulls, heavy weight, $75. to $85.; commercial cows, high grade, 60. to 67.50, core sales, 51.50 to 59., and lower grades, 45. to 50.50; fed-colored cattle, choice, 97.50 to 103., and selects, 90. to 95.; feeder cattle, 350 to 650 lbs., 100. to 130., and heavy weights, 80. to 99.50; calves, core sales, 70. to 95.

Winter hours began Tuesday. The next special fall sale is Nov. 18.
