PITTSBURGH — Police are looking for the man who shot a clerk during a convenience store robbery in Pittsburgh’s Bloomfield neighborhood.

Police say the man entered the store on Penn Avenue on Thursday night, displayed a firearm and demanded money. As the clerk was gathering the cash, police say the man leaned over the counter and shot the clerk in the leg. The suspect fled the scene.

The clerk is hospitalized in stable condition.
