MERCER — The state police Mercer barracks today kicks off is its annual Christmas toy drive that runs through Dec. 14.

The drive, a joint effort by the police and Mercer County Children’s Aid Society, will collect new toys for children in Mercer County who otherwise may not receive gifts during the holiday season.

Only new, unwrapped toys will be accepted at the Mercer barracks, Route 62 in Jackson Center.
