Butler Police5:55 a.m. Tuesday — Richard L. Spinneweber, 36, no known address, was arrested at Greenview Garden Apartments after he allegedly tussled with police, who were looking for him in the suspected assault of his girlfriend the previous night.Spinneweber is accused of grabbing Samantha Ringler by the hair about 11:45 p.m. Monday and hitting her head against the bedroom door at her apartment, according to court documents. Ringler was later taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for injuries in the alleged assault.By the time police got to the apartment, the suspect was gone. But just before 6 a.m. Tuesday, officers learned he was back at the apartment, knocking on Ringler’s door. He saw police arrive, documents said, and ran.Police a short time later found Spinneweber in the basement of the building. He was handcuffed but while being placed in the police car he allegedly struggled with an officer. He also head-butted the rear passenger side door and kicked the rear corner panel.The defendant eventually stopped acting up after an officer threatened to use his Taser.Spinneweber was arraigned on charges of simple assault, resisting arrest and criminal mischief. He was placed in Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail following arraignment.Friday — Police charged Anthony Lee Brown, 26, of Butler with drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop Oct. 23 at South Main and Cunningham streets.Brown reeked of alcohol after police stopped him just before 2 a.m., court documents said. He failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. A breath test showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.215 percent, more than 2½ times the state’s 0.08 percent legal limit, documents said.Along with driving under the influence, Brown is charged with driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered vehicle and careless driving,

Butler Twp Police,/b>8:52 p.m. Monday — Robert P. Diodati Jr., 31, of Butler was arrested after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend during a domestic dispute on Boyd Drive. The victim, who suffered a minor injury, told police the suspect pushed her to the ground.Diodati was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and he was released on his own recognizance.Grove City Police12:06 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Adele E. Bish, 22, of Slippery Rock rear-ended another vehicle on West Main Street near Sawardekar Lane. No one was injured but Bish’s vehicle had to be towed.Police cited Bish for following too closely to another vehicle. Robert Savolskis, no age given, of Grove City was the other driver.Oct. 26 — Jason T. Myers, 36, of Grove City was arrested on a bench warrant out of Butler County after he was found intoxicated at Leisure Time Laundry on West Main Street.Myers was later taken to the Mercer County Jail when police learned he was wanted on the warrant. Court records showed the warrant was issued June 22 after Myers failed to appear at his formal arraignment on felony charges in an alleged April theft in Slippery Rock Township.State Police, Butler3:56 a.m. Saturday — Samantha E. Longstreth, 25, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on Franklin Street in Butler. She is charged with DUI, careless driving and not wearing a seat belt.3:42 a.m. Saturday — Steven J. McCall, 43, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance on the 300 block of Franklin Street in Butler.Police said McCall was placed in Butler County Prison after police learned he was wanted on an arrest warrant in Allegheny County.Thursday — Police obtained an arrest warrant for Erik Kent Dubois, 29, of Slippery Rock Township on charges he fired a gun at an occupied home on Venango Township in September.The defendant, while traveling in a pickup truck the night of Sept. 10, apparently got into a verbal argument with the victim, Randy D. Kerr, outside Kerr’s home on Blair Road. Dubois later returned about 1:45 a.m. and allegedly fired three pistol shots, which hit the side of the house.The victim and Inga Kerr were both at the home but no one was injured. Randy Kerr provided police with the license plate number of the suspect’s truck, which is owned by Dubois’ father, according to court documents.Police on Sept. 19 spoke to the defendant, who gave conflicting accounts of what happened.Dubois is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, as well as discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and carrying a firearm without a permit, all felonies.Additionally, he is charged with two counts of reckless endangerment, and disorderly conduct, harassment, trespass and driving with a suspended license-DUI relatedThursday — Bryan M. Webb, 32, of Summit Township was charged with taking a woman’s bank debit card and using it Oct. 17 and 18 to make nine unauthorized transactions.The fraudulent charges, which totaled nearly $192, were made at several stores and gas stations in and around the Oakland Township area, according to court documents.Additionally, Webb used the card at vending machines at Butler Memorial Hospital. He is charged with access device fraud and theft.12:01 a.m. Oct. 17 — An Allegheny County man was arrested after he showed up intoxicated at a Clinton Township home and asked the residents there if he could sleep on their kitchen floor.Police believe the suspect, Eugene R. Debor, 57, of Tarentum, walked to the home on the 200 block of Wylie Road after a friend dropped him off nearby. Troopers were called and found Debor still on the resident’s property.He appeared to be “highly impaired on alcohol,” according to a police report. Due to his condition, he was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment. He is charged with public drunkenness.State Police, KittanningTuesday — Police reported they have a suspect in the alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old June 3 in Manor Township. The investigation continues, according to a police report, which did not identify the suspect.,b>State Police, Mercer1:15 p.m. Saturday — Michael A. Marsh, 41, was arrested after he allegedly threatened suicide and later clashed with troopers at his home on Franklin Road in Jackson Township, Mercer County.Police initially were called to Marsh’s house for a reported domestic dispute during which he reportedly threatened to harm himself. Troopers found the suspect in the driveway.When advised he would need to undergo a mental health evaluation, according to a police report, he pushed past troopers in a bid to get back into his home. Police tried to stop him and he allegedly struck and shoved the troopers.The suspect eventually was placed in handcuffs but not before one of the troopers suffered a minor head bruise.Marsh was arraigned on charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, simple assault and disorderly conduct. He was placed in Mercer County Jail on $25,000 bail following arraignment.10:10 p.m. Oct. 25 — An unknown suspect drove a vehicle through a yard on the 900 block of Old Ash Road in Springfield Township. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-662-6162.

State Police, New CastleThursday — Police obtained a felony arrest warrant for Courtney A. Stone, 30, on charges she stole a car Aug. 16 that was at her then-home on Stoner Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.The car, a 2010 Ford Fusion, belonged to 58-year-old Gregory J. Hauck, who also lives at the home. A police report did not indicate the relationship between the suspect and victim. New Castle police on Oct. 7 recovered the car at the McGrath Manor public housing project in the city. The car is valued at $8,000 and also had $1,000 worth of tools in the trunk.Stone is charged with felony and misdemeanor counts of theft.
