Succop Nature Park, 185 W. Airport Road, Penn Township, hosts “Creatures of the Night,” a program for families to hear stories, take a walk, and enjoy crafts and refreshments, at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Costumes are encouraged. Registration is required at aswp.org.

Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township, presents “Citizen Science is for the Birds” at 2 p.m. Nov. 6. This free program will introduce various bird-related projects in which anyone can participate. “Homeschool CSI: BirdSleuth/Project FeederWatch” is Nov. 8, and registration is due by Nov. 4 at http://events.dcnr.pa.gov/ or 724-794-6011.
